Figure Drawing

The latest batch. The last one's of Reetta. I loved her bedhead.

The Procrastination Stops Here

Or at least I'm trying to curb it a little bit. When I told a classmate the other day that I rarely sketched or doodled without being asked to, she was really shocked to hear me say that, which made me feel kind of ashamed. No one can get better without some discipline, so I'm going to try to post at least once a week with some sketches, animations, and maybe a character design or two once the design club gets off the ground.

The girl at the bottom was actually a character I was planning to use in my demo reel. It may or may not happen; it depends if my bumper is demo-reel worthy. We shall see.

More Final Work

My final animation.

My film for Davore. A pgsm spoof. This was so much fun, omg.

I realize I should really update this thing more. I will try to do this more in the future.

Babies Etc

Well, as promised, I'm going to update this blog like crazy now. With stuff.

One of my layouts I'm pretty pleased with.
A rough exterior layout I'd like to finish.

My final designs for my package that were supposed to match my first layout.

More to come.

Don In A Disney Film

It was the weekly illustration to take the piss out of Don. I fear my grades will mysteriously plummet in the coming weeks. Have pity, Don. The class made me do it!

General Wut

Merry Christmas, you fancy-pants ninnies.

I promise to post more in the future. And next time it'll have more substance, I swear.

MAJOR UPDATE WOAH

I've been busy with everything under the sun lately, but now that I'm relaxing for my Christmas break, I have some time to update.
Animation Final:

I'm pretty pleased with this. I'd love to continue cleaning it up and add some sound effects and whatnot to maybe add in my reel for this summer's internship at Studio B (or was it Bardel?). The character was Chel. I like that she's pretty much on model and I captured her face better than expected. It was a fun challenge.

These are my designs for the Ugly Princess story I came up with for my final script for communications class. I'm really liking how it's evolving. Maybe I'll use the idea for the pitch contest this summer. I really like her design.
This is a perspective excercise. Nothing to brag about here really. This is my biggest challenge but I look forward to improving.

Some figure drawing I put in my final ten. I definitely have room for improvement. I'd love to try some of that cross-shading I've seen in other people's figure drawings.
It was a great first semester. I learned so much and I've made so many good friends and connections! One of my resolutions for the new year is to be better organized and try not to procrastinate so much. Let's hope I follow through. I hear this semester is intense.
