Love and Beauty Shock
I've totally been procrastinating by sketching sailor soldiers, I'm not gonna lie. I've been wanting to draw something like this for awhile, so I'm glad to get it out of my system. A few more will be posted soon. I think I'm going to do a Jem series too. I wish there was a more modern show of it today. Christy Marx, if you ever want to make a new Jem show, I would totally love to redesign them.
Anyway, back to the grindstone!

25 Essential Expressions
I did mine of my character, Anansi, who was totally fun to draw for this. I hope to have time to do more in the future.

Animations
We had to re-envision a small scene from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. There's a few errors but I'd love to fix it up and possibly put it in my demo reel.
A little old lady we had to rough out who slips and falls on a banana peel. We had to show contrast in our keys to help create more interesting animation. The siren was an added bonus.
Another re-envision excercise we did in class. I really wanted to display his emotions here.

The Procrastination Stops Here
Or at least I'm trying to curb it a little bit. When I told a classmate the other day that I rarely sketched or doodled without being asked to, she was really shocked to hear me say that, which made me feel kind of ashamed. No one can get better without some discipline, so I'm going to try to post at least once a week with some sketches, animations, and maybe a character design or two once the design club gets off the ground.
The girl at the bottom was actually a character I was planning to use in my demo reel. It may or may not happen; it depends if my bumper is demo-reel worthy. We shall see.
