Ugly Princess Rough Storyboards

A preview of a storyboard in process for Ugly Princess. I had this idea in my head for a long time, but I'm not sure what she's running from yet or what she sees behind her. Any suggestions? :)

I also uploaded a demo reel to youtube but I'd like to polish my work a bit more for gradshow. I forgot my cell phone when I went to school today so I sketched on the bus instead. So here's a new weekly sketch of Morrigan. There's a number of anatomical issues and morrigan's right arm looks broken but I like the pens I used. Pink and teal, go figure. So I realized I never posted this, but now that I'm fixing it up, I might as well post it here. It still needs a few tweaks I think, but it's more or less done.

Ugly Princess Revisited

I just decided last weekend to freshly update my Ugly Princess idea and added a new character. The girl on the left is the fat princess; she's kind of like Miss Piggy meets Charlotte from PATF, with a bit of ponyo inspiration for design. She knows kung fu and will kick your ass anyday, anytime.

The spooky faces in the bg are all the princesses they have yet to rescue. I've been having a lot of fun with this idea and hope that one day it'll be made into a show or at least a comic. Anyway, back to the grindstone!

Sailor Mars

I told you there were better posts to come. Sailor Mars is one of the best soldiers ever. All firey and red and IN YOUR FACE. Yeah. I'm glad I found time for this! I also made a tutorial about how I do linework. Be sure to check it out.

Been A Busy Bee

Some painterly-like thing from class. I gotta keep practicing but I like the idea of it. Less boring posts shall be made in the future.
